Are you a midwife, doula, student or birth professional/worker who would like to learn how to support hypnobirthing parents? Would you like to incorporate the hypnobirthing philosophy into your everyday care?
The Hypnobirthing Australia™ Supportive Caregivers Training has been specifically designed to provide midwives and caregivers with training on how to best support hypnobirthing mothers with the use of self-hypnosis, conditioning, relaxation, breathing and visualisation.

A three-hour workshop dedicated to unearthing the wonderful benefits of active birth and creating a positive mindset during your pregnancy. You will learn a wide variety of movement and relaxation techniques to assist in a more comfortable birth experience. This active birthing short-course is perfect for all mothers, regardless of whether it is your first baby or your fourth!
Techniques include: -Acupressure for childbirth -Breathing techniques -Helpful positions for each stage of labour and the birth -How to optimise space in the pelvis for your baby's birth -Partner massage -Aromatherapy and essential oils in labour -How to create the ideal birth environment -Connection during labour -Relaxation session to close the workshop A "must do" for all couples planning a natural birth. This empowering workshop goes above and beyond the basic techniques and exercises taught in standard childbirth education classes. This is best suited to women 28 weeks onwards.
20 minutes of nourishing savasana will end the workshop. This will be led by Flow Mumma qualified pre and postnatal Pilates and Yoga instructor Sarah Claydon. Sarah has a special interest in Restorative Yoga and mindfulness and understands the importance of self care and nourishing the mind, body and spirit.
Refreshments include delicious treats, fruit platters and organic teas.
COST $110 per mum-to-be and her birth partner (eg. partner, husband, friend, birth support person or solo if you like)
WHAT TO BRING -Wear comfortable clothing (both of you!) that you can easily move around in. Activewear is perfect. -You may want to bring a water bottle with you. -Yoga equipment is available but feel free to bring any of your own things if you wish.
